We had a good turn out for the July meeting, even though several regulars
weren't there.

Amelia brought a rough cut of 2 sections of the Esther DVD (an intro which
includes a short excerpt of each teller, and Amelia & Joyce's 'how to start
a guild' conversation). The full DVD is still being edited.

Amelia and Tom are heading to Atlanta for the Festival Gathering.
Amelia will be hosting a breakfast table on Friday of the Gathering on how
to start a guild. She'll give people at the table the rough cut of our DVD.

Most of our meeting was devoted ton planning the August 16 telling at GSH. It is "Doctor Luke's Travelogue." We'll be telling a variety of healing stoires form Luke-Acts. We'll experiment with a moving/freezing all tellers on stage format (to go along with their "A Night at the Movies" theme), with an MC--Dr. Luke--narrating.

Other things things that came up:
We WILL have our regular meeting on Aug 23 as scheduled, even though we
have the GSH telling just a week before that. Topic for that meeting will
be: Children's Messages: ideas & tips for doing them, things we've tried
that worked (or didn't).

We'll also spend sometime at the Aug & Sept meetings planning for our third
telling of Esther, Oct 13 at the Hoosier Storytelling event, and
brainstorming some early plans for 2008.
